What’s Really Stopping You? Fear, Doubt & the Stories We Carry

“In real time, I’m choosing to stop negotiating with fear—and start walking in purpose.”

What Was Really Holding Me Back?

Like many women, I wasn’t stopped by a lack of talent or ideas.

I was stopped by inner stories I hadn’t rewritten yet.

Let me break them down:

Fear of Failure

I used to think failure meant I wasn’t good enough. Now I know—it means I’m doing something bold.

Every mistake became a stepping stone. And I let failure teach me, not define me.

Procrastination

I thought I lacked discipline.

But I was just afraid.

Afraid of not doing it perfectly. Afraid of the outcome.

Now I start before I feel ready—because action breeds clarity.

Fear of Success

What if I outgrow my circle? What if I lose myself?

Those questions haunted me.

Until I realized: success doesn’t change who I am—it reveals what’s possible when I’m walking in purpose.

Lack of Self-Belief

Doubt used to speak louder than truth.

But I stopped listening.

I started affirming my gifts, surrounding myself with belief, and acting like the woman I was becoming.

Lack of Motivation

Motivation isn’t magic—it’s momentum.

It grows when I take action. It’s nurtured by my “why.”

I stay motivated by seeing the impact on lives I serve.

If You’re Waiting for Fear to Leave… Don’t.

Fear never fully disappears.

But your relationship with it can change.

You don’t need perfect conditions to begin.

You need one thing: a decision to show up anyway.

Start with shaky hands. Start with a loud inner critic. Start unsure—but start. Because your purpose deserves movement, not delay.
